[GreenKeys] Comdata Telex Modem? Anyone have manuals? See pictures

Eric,

TWX & TELEX started out (in the 1930s) with 5 bit Baudot machines. As it 
got more popular, they moved to ASCII, but that meant that they had to 
have converters so that 5-bit & 8-bit machines could converse with each 
other.

The Teletype Corp. Model 26 was designed as a cheaper, low-duty, machine 
for TWX.  (But they never got the volume of the M26 up to where it could 
be built cheaper than the M15.)
