Consistent vertical spacing differences may be due to the pallets not aligned perfectly on the typebars. The X Y Z appear to be so. Give a close examination to the pallets in the type basket & see if some look a bit high or low compared to the others. I think some minor vertical errors were normal.

Horizontal spacing might also be a pallet problem but may also be the carriage itself is not spacing uniformly along the page. The F G gap is different in the 1st occurrence compared to the 2nd & may be carriage movement related.
