That's great! I remember the Teletype receiving wire service copy for the
school newspaper would print a line of gibberish before each story. But,
if you looked at the punched tape (6 bit to drive the Linotype), the
gibberish was the story number. You could quickly look through the punched
tape to find the story you wanted to send to the Linotype.
