[GreenKeys] Mite TT-299B/UG Hammer pad

Gang,

Does anyone have any ideas about refurbishing the print hammer pad for 
the Mites? I was thinking about a small polyurethane spacer/buffer 
(.050" thick) between the print hammer and the hardened print face 
adhered with some adhesive that can take the shock. I don't want to 
start draining the swamp if this has been addressed already. Thank you 
for your input if you have any experience in this area. Or if anyone has 
found any replacements.
