An amusing aside about power line noise

I sometimes eat breakfast at a local fast food where the power company 
crews take their morning breaks.  One day I noticed that several of the 
men were wearing the same peculiar style of jeans.  One of the back 
pockets has a stitched design that looks like an oscillogram, a straight 
line with a noise burst in the middle of it.
