Most of these things are simple enough that they would have to have catastrophic failure to not be fixable. That Hal does look decent tho, Id treat the adhesive on it to some wd40 to get it off and clean it up. I have a Hal st-6 that survived 3 field days, in addition to my home use, in addition to whatever it went through the last oh, 50 years.
