Thank you, Nick, for scanning and archiving the Navships 91355 manual.  A CV-57 is in my rack for use with the R-388/51J receiver which has a 500 kc IF output.  (A re-tuning of the input unit in this converter allows 500 kc input.)  Your scan will help me a lot since I've only been looking for a copy of the manual for some 30+ years! Thanks and 73, George W6BN

These FSK converters connect to the IF of a receiverhttps://www.navy-radio.com/manuals/ura6-ura7-cv57-91355-5008.pdf
URA-6 has two CV-57 converters (for 455kc IF) and a CM-14 diversity comparatorURA-7 has two CV-71 converters (for 50kc IF) and a CM-14 diversity comparator
They are big, heavy, connect to teletypes, and painted gray - what's not to love?https://www.navy-radio.com/rtty/conv/ura6-w5jv-03.jpg(photo thanks to W5JV)
