All, thanks very much for the info. I'm surprised by the response;
didn't know how active this list was. I very much appreciate it.
I'm in Twin Falls, ID, to further specify my location.
I'm in contact with Robert re: his listing. Going to see about
figuring out driving and when I could get near enough to pick it up.
Stan, to answer your questions:
-I am not yet a ham, but I am planning on getting my Tech this year,
and my General as soon as I can after that. It's something I've been
putting off for a long time!
-No, afraid I'm not related to those Brockways, at least as far as I
know, except distantly. My branch of the family has been in Idaho
since the 1870s. Almost all Brockways in the United States are related
if you go back far enough, though.
Jordan, I think I saw your listing on Facebook Marketplace earlier. I
think I'm pretty much specifically looking for a 15 KSR at the moment
for various reasons, but maybe I'd be interested in one of your
demodulators... I'm a little iffy on what equipment I need exactly,
but I'd like to make it all tube type if possible to complete the
picture of my setup being 1940s/1950s fully tube-based.
Need to look into local ham clubs.
