Very nice! I did not think of using Bluetooth. I have a WiFi module on the
DSP TU ( https://w6iwi.org/rtty/DspTU2/ ). My intent is to have it connect
to ITTY for demonstrations. The use of MP3 by ITTY complicates things
since I have to decode that. Another possibility would be to have the WiFi
module contact a script on my server that does the MP3 decode and stream
the results as an 8 bit 8 ksps WAV stream. But, it might be simpler to
just make my own version of ITTY that fetches text based on RSS, generates
the 8 bit 8 ksps WAV file, and then lets the DSP TU fetch that. I see that
ITTY uses http instead of https, which simplifies stuff. I still have a
lot to do with regards to the WiFi module. So far, it can scan for access
points, connect to one, get an IP address using DHCP, and set a clock
using NTP. I will have to do the http client. So... fun project!

And your project is amazing!

Thanks for sharing.
