Latest observations, ok had some time to further check some of your suggestions. Checking the
Keyboard typing RYRY cycles everything but only prints a space and after a short while the KLOC goes
down by itself and bounces up and down. Pushing the unlock will stop that after a while. The only
Key that is correct is M, push an M and you get an M. On the keyboard code bars, r side from the
rear there are 2 - 2 - 3 - 1 the rear second 1 has no spring, no hole for one, its loose but never
moves. The others all move l and r and have springs. Definitely nothing gummed up.
Three terminal strips in the rear are 1-30 ac on 29-30 and ground stud to the case.
The large cable pulley on the right of typing unit is just that no extra goodies on that wheel.
The signal generator has 2 tubes running into it for wire shielding all nicely soldered to the case.
I think this repair will be a while! I have a Model 15, I know it and understand it. It will need a
cleaning and some fresh oil, I might put that back in service so I can get back on the air, been 20
odd years. That will be connected to Teletype power supply, a Tempest, and a newly acquired
Sunair RT-9000b RX.
Again Thank You Bob Kc2ltx
