[GreenKeys] 3 steps forward, one step back 28 KSR

After removing vestiges of WU, stripping off the hard plastic tubing on
the cable and putting on the spiral wrap replacement (pictures
available) it was time to move the keyboard and printer into their new home.
Ah nuts it runs open. Aha, this keyboard has no break key, therefore
needs a jumper between C10 and C11. Install the jumper.
Ready for typing to myself. Not so fast. It cycles, the type box
clutch triggers, but type box isn't positioning to a letter and it's not
spacing. Code bars aren't moving back and forth on RY. In fact no key
press moves them.
I see the selector armature moving but the push levers and therefore
transfer levers aren't moving. Selecting levers seem to be moving as
they ride up on the cam surfaces. What the heck could have changed from
moving the the keyboard and printer from one cabinet to the other.
Of course this involved taking the printer off the keyboard during the
move, but I didn't bump or drop anything in the process.
Having had it bolted down before the move, I naturally put the screws
back in after the move. (Do ones hands get bigger as you age? I don't
recall having as much 'fun' getting the screws back in the previous time
a couple of years ago.)
Now I guess I'll have to remove the printer again and put it on 'the
test stand' so I can see what isn't happening. Unless someone has a
better idea.
One other thought, I had been maybe 6 months without running before I
moved it. It probably would have been prudent to have test run before
moving it?
