    When in my teens I sometimes hung out at KFI, the local NBC station. 
KFI had a real news room with perhaps half a dozen teletype machines in 
it. Could be quite noisy, was always hot and had a strong odor of oil. I 
loved to watch the machines print stuff. A very long time ago.
