 An interesting, and kinda sad story...  I read the article and also checked Wiki, and the Philippines still maintains a crew there even to this day.

I was reading the article about the old LST that the Philippines has run aground on the spratly islands to stake its claim.  I attached the link below but also found that the communication spaces looks to be a gym now.  The ASR in the back has a bottom surface rust on it.
