[GreenKeys] Tape patches

Hi Boys and Girls of Greenkeys,
I retired from teletype and sold off much of my converters. I still have left several 28 ASR, KSR and RO’s.
Some still have the original Bell System tube carrier units that work if you feed the correct tones into them.
Too, an FAA mailbox Model 15. There are two Model 33’s, ASR I believe that used to talk to my Model 35 ASR.
Much of this was fed thru a military patch bay with current meter. There are parts and paper tape and rolls.
Manuals too. At 83, I’d like to save my son from taking this to you-know-where, as this equipment is in very
good shape. There’s test equipment and a desktop Model 28. A Model 14 if I remember correctly.
Too, I have Sunair exciters and several 1KW Sunair xmtrs and loads of auto-tune couplers both for the exciters
and the 1KW xmtrs. The joke goes that if you have to ask what is a Sunair, you’d probably ask the Rolls Royce
dealer about the miles per gallon LOL Parts you ask….yes parts on shelves that are now unobtainium.
So organize, rent a U-Haul, and come to Hackettstown, NJ 07840
All this is FREE but it all must go in one visit.
Larry

Info for the archives - John has some splices like these -
(pictured - 8-level splices with green stripe)

They work with this splicer

If anyone has a source of 5-level splices with blue stripe, I'd be happy to trade some 8-level ones.
More on the splicer

I've been gifted a very small QTY of tape patches.
I see a purple stripe running down the feed holes, is that the 'glue'? I'm assuming one needs to heat it to make it stick. If I could figure a way to keep things aligned could I use a regular flat iron?
