Jeff,

 

Something was moving correctly as the “scissors” that determine the position of the typebox were actuating repeatedly (sorry I can’t remember the correct nomenclature, but tech school was in 1966!) and I have never seen the results of movement that we were seeing with Andy’s machine!

 

Anyone else with input?  What are we missing?

Yeah i realize y'all do this sort of thing everyday but bear in mind the last time I powered this lil' beast (about 4 years ago) there was a small combustion event that occurred resulting in burning wires and whatnot. Exciting stuff!

 

Will It happen again? Who knows. But fear not - Steve (N4TTY) has graciously volunteered to dial in so we can diagnose any problems.

 

I guarantee that this Live Event will involve either a very small explosion, some awesome printing out of ITTY from my volpe board, or possibly.. nothing at all due to my shoddy wiring.
