I don’t know if any of this is useful to you you, but here is what I have on Dovetron
https://w2hx.com/?prefix=x/RTTY/Dovetron/

likely not useful but just in case

The 1000T manual has info about what changes were made to the MPC1000 main board for Tempest operation.
But this manual has no schematics.
https://www.navy-radio.com/rtty/dovetron/dovetron-tempest-mpc1000t-8207.pdf

The main board MPC1000 schematic/layout 75100/75103 is here
https://www.navy-radio.com/rtty/dovetron/Dovetron_MPC-1000C-schematic.pdf

Look here for schematics/layout for the add-on boards - SSD 75307 and the BBP 75192/75195
https://www.navy-radio.com/rtty/dovetron/dovetron-tempest-mpc1000crt-8308.pdf

I don't have the 75103T drawing which is the Tempest schematic addendum for 1000T, I do have the 75103CR/T one for the 1000CR/T which should be the same except for some additions because of the regen feature. I'll scan it later today.
If anyone has the 75103T drawing, please let me know.

You might find other useful docs here -

Have fun,

I was given a Dovetron 1000T last summer. (That is the military version with all BNC connectors.) I finally got room on my bench to check it out. I am getting tones through the level pot but no cross pulse on the LED display.

I badly need a schematic for it but cannot find one. Is there any chance a greenkeyer can help me with a pdf of the schematic

The new loop current meter on my bench helped me get my old Dovetron working. That is the one that after operating 24/7 for about a year burned out a plate-through in the loop circuit. A couple days ago I could not get more than 50 mils out of it. I finally tracked it down to my loop which measured about 1000 ohms.
I finally broke it down to a model 15 pulling magnet - 200 ohms, a 15 holding magnet - 50 ohms, my newly installed SB-1210A - 600 ohms and the loop wire - 150 ohms. Of course the big problem was the SB-1210A which has a 600 ohm wire-wound resistor and 1500 0hm pot in every channel. My channels 1, 2 and 3 are remotely powered by TU's so I shorted the resistors int those channels and made sure the pots were set to 0 ohms. Problem solved. Old Dovetron re-asssembled and ready to be re-installed.

If ITTY goes down, my news stream should still be up. http://n3crk.ddns.net:8000/tty

Note to Harold: I have an NOS model 15 re-inker with a little instruction sheet. I have been looking for it for several days. If I ever find it, I will scan the instructions and post it to the group.
