 Interesting!  I wonder if John Moon had something to do with the Moon Motor Car Company of St. Louis (my QTH) - it was founded by Joseph Moon - a relative?  Quick googling didn't turn up anything.  Burroughs was also a famous son here.  
Too bad the thing is so far gone!
