[GreenKeys] Shouting the weather

That NWS article says something that sounds quite strange to me -
"Punctuation also was limited; for example, an apostrophe would be
represented by a "/" symbol, and a comma was represented by an ellipsis.
Hyphens would cause issues as well."
What font would have those problems? the standard weather font has
different symbols from those listed.
