[GreenKeys] 1/6 the strikers on typebar carriage striking at the same time

 Dear OM--
I offer the following, but a lot of it is from memory and cannot be backed up since I no longer have any 15 typing units to verify my comments.
In your first photo, it seems that there is a serious misalignment of the code bar subassembly with respect to the typebar subassembly.  This is indicated by the visually larger spacing between the bottom edge of the typebar backstop and the array of pull bar extensions on the right hand side compared to the left hand side.  Thus, the arrangement of the two subassemblies appears skewed with respect to each other.
On the last photo, it is shown that the pull bar bail is engaged with the notch (Teletype calls it a "hump") on a pull bar at the right hand end even though the pull bar extension is not down in the notches of the code bars, assuming that this character was not selected.  From the two first photos, this seems to be the case for several of the code bars.  This is what is causing the several typebars to be erroneously activated on the right side. With the pull bar bail fully to the rear of the printer and the code bars not lining up for a pull bar to be selected (i.e., not in the notches), there should be a small gap between the hump on the pull bar and the beveled edge of the pull bar bail of some 0.010 inches or so.  Again, all this is from memory and I could be totally 'out in left field' on this topic.
Based on my worn out memory, I seem to recall that the code bar mounting plate has a slight eccentricity to it.  Could it be that the plate needs to be removed and flipped over thereby relocating the two code bar retaining screws which may be slightly offset from each other and thereby eliminating the skew in the subassemblies' relative positions? Were the code bar and type bar sub assemblies disassembled for cleaning and/or lubrication?  Also some of the mounting holes on these two subassemblies allow placement adjustment for some of the parts on the carriage assembly.  I don't recall if any are pertinent in this case.
A possibly useful reference for you is TM-11-353 (Installation and Maintenence of Telegraph Printer Equipment (e.g., models 14,15,19, etc.) which I think is available on Nick's K4NYW web site (<navy-radio.com>).  This book has descriptions of adjustments for several machines, including the  Model 15 typing unit. (It also has an extensive introductiion to Teletypewriter theory, machines and other fundamentals.)
Good luck in correcting this strange issue.

 Dear Greenkeys community,
When I simulate a striking motion on my model 19 (same as 15) typebar carriage, almost 1/6 of the strikers go up that shouldn’t (see attached image, only the one highlighted in green should be going up.)This happened after I removed and regreased the strikers. It appears to be the arm (see image) is caught on several strikers it shouldn’t be. What should I do to fix this?
Any help would be appreciated!!
P.S. 4 keys have been removed, the springs were broken, this is temporary so you don’t need to point it out.______________________________________________________________
