I guess possibly the most important thing is to replace the rubber cover for
the hammer. If that disintegrates it will smash the typewheel quite quickly,
as I understand it. Someone on this list has manufactured new ones so make
sure you get one.

Model 33 ASR Restoration Help?
I recently acquired a Teletype Model 33 ASR as an estate sale, hoping to
restore this unit for use with my Altair 8800 (clone). Is anyone reading
this located in central Minnesota who could offer some guidance to a rookie
or share their restoration do's/don'ts?
Thanks,
Brendan
