Anyone know what that “control box” is on the side of the mailbox? Looks like a good way to key a transmitter

sorry this stuff is in Pocatello Idaho,  a long drive for most of you, there are three model 15 printers,  3 model 14 TD's   2 look in good condition and yes all this looks a bit dirty,  it probably was setting in this guys basement for 40 years, PICKUP only ...   within a month or two,  got to get this stuff out of my driveway, now residing under a tarp."

That's all I know of it, just saw it on Ebay this evening.
