Good to know that was a factory option for the paint.  Still not sure what
the red paint on the keys is all about.

Red also makes sense in the Alarm company use case. That makes me want to
program a couple of ESP32 boards and attach one to my alarm panel's
diagnostics port and one to the 15.

LoL, probably not entirely useful, but on par with nerding out.

One a different topic:

Would a good quality silicon based machine oil be a good choice to
lubricate the moving components?  The felts still "feel" moist, but who
knows when the machines were last serviced.
