[GreenKeys] New To Teletype Ownership

John,
Good question and I wish I knew the answer to that one. All I know about
this particular machine is that it was once used as a TTD operator terminal
for some time. Perhaps this is some "modification" the operator made for
that purpose.
This is a total SWAG, but they appear on both keyboards, perhaps those were
either the most common signal keys for operator assisted transmission, or
those secondary functions were not 'used' in the TTD messaging.
Another thing that I have questions about is the red cabinet around the
model 15. I haven't seen any other photos of a model 15 in that color. I
wonder if that was another modification used to indicate this was a TTD
service terminal.
When I picked up the units I found lots of items in the cabinets along side
the supplies. Including B&W photographs of these machines being operated.
Although being B&W there is no real way to understand if the machine was
red at the time or standard black.
Best regards,
-Casey
