You can go to www.mcmaster.com (McMaster-Carr) and put in "6-40" - no 
quotes - in the search block.

There are many choices and selections, which you can narrow down as needed.

McMaster are happy to sell you one or two tiny washers, or a couple of 
railroad cars full of washers, or anything in between.

I've been dealing with them for decades. Never been displeased.
