John,I've often made tape loops with Scotch tape.  I cut the Scotch tape into narrow strips first,  so no trimming neededHave fun Duncan K2OEQ Sent from my Kleinschmidt TT-4/TG, the US Army's first portable digital communications device, 1950-1980

For fully perforated tape, there were existing special tape and tools to do the job.  I've been pondering, since I don't have the fixture or the little stickies for the splice,  could I do leaders with blanks and use regular Scotch tape.  A strip of Scotch on each side of the feed holes.  Then you'd have to trim the excess Scotch off the edges.  (I've seen narrower tape on items I've received, but never seen it in the stores.)Anyone try this or have another idea?-------The above comments or recommendations are SWAG.
