You can use a DC to DC converter like this one on ebay.

I used a similar one powered by a wall wart and about a 2000 ohm resistor of about 10 to 20 watts. You can set the voltage around 120 to 150 volts to get you the 60 ma needed for the circuit. The converter will take from about 10 to 30 volts in and give you the needed high voltage out.

I am looking to build a loop supply that can run off of 24vdc. I run some old military stuff in the field and would like to be able to power a loop supply off of the same 24v battery’s.
What would be some good suggestions?
