I have solved the mystery of the non-printing printer on this machine.
The "issue" was the added wiring on the control panel for the added
electronics.  I had been following the wiring diagrams that Nick England
pointed out, checking for the terminals that were strapped together.  I
had made one jumper and had been testing each pair up the line of the
cabinet terminal strips. Nothing was working.  When I finally got into
the 130's, I think, I found one pair that was supposed to be strapped
according to the diagram but instead had two separate "newish" wires on
each terminal.  I started following those wires and they led to a toggle
switch on the electronics control panel which had the label "On -
Printer".  I flipped the switch up to the On label and, voila, the
printer then worked when I typed on the keyboard.  I installed a "new"
ribbon and started typing lines of RY's and QBF's.  The printer never
missed a lick except for mistakes due to operator error.  The Space bar
tends to stick so I suspect old gummy grease somewhere.

The mystery of the non-working TD still has not been solved.  I will
keep investigating terminal straps.  I need to make a few jumpers
because there are a few pair already that apparently should be strapped
but are not and I have run out of spade connectors.

By the way, what is a good quality connector to use?  I have some of the
typical connectors you get at the big box hardware stores and they are
flimsy and bend otherwise get misshapen easily.

The tape punch seems to have an intermittent problem.  It will
occasionally advance when I type on the keyboard but not punch (even
with the selector switch just on KBD).  Since this is intermittent I am
guessing it is likely a mechanical issue perhaps due to gummy grease.

As usual, I really appreciate all the help I get from GreenKeys members
on these projects.
