[GreenKeys] TTYs in the movies

Just watched Woman of the Year, a 1942 film starring Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn. The film features a fair amount of Teletype action, Hepburn plays a high powered reporter who's got a page printer running in her office and a strip printer at home carrying (if the plot is to be believed) mostly political and war related wire-service copy.  The various printers clatter into action at appropriate moments to interrupt Spencer Tracy as he's trying to develop a romance with her.

The plot?  She covers real news and seems to speak at least 4 languages fluentl.  He's a sports columnist.  He goes to ballgames, she seems to know multiple heads of state and other major players in world affairs.
