We even saw a model 15 hooked to an 8 bit computer!
My 1st home PC was a MITS Altair 680b that I interfaced to a Model 15. Thought it was cool beans when I finally got my hands on a couple of Hazeltine 1000 & 1500 video terminals (still got them collecting dust).

It’s interesting to watch where this hobby is going. It’s like old cars. Some are restored to original factory specs. Others are custom modified. We have 3D printed items to replace unobtanium parts, software defined terminal units/modems with build in motor control, changing uppercase to lowercase, creative solutions for loop supplies, plug and play adapters and more (I’m certainly not intending to leave anyone out!). We even saw a model 15 hooked to an 8 bit computer!
I’m personally a fan for restoring to factory specs but certainly welcome those with creativity and skills to do things I can’t. It makes our hobby stronger, generates interest and brings in more people. I can’t wait to see what some of you come up with next.
Carry on!

This would happen when I would send them a picture of their Telex on my machine.
