More Confusion!!!

The Teleprinter Corp ad - date unknown

is not the same Teleprinter Corp as the MITE teletypewriters.  The ad 
says "since 1968."

The original Teleprinter Corp. (which produced the AN/TGC-14 in the 
fiberglass case)  merged with the Greist Manufacturing Co. in 1961 and 
the new company was known as "MITE"  (Miniature Industrial Technical 
Equipment).  So by 1968, the original (AN/TGC-14) company had given  up 
the "Teleprinter" name and someone else was using it.
