Here's a mystery part.
The box is dated 1970, is that too early to be a 40 series part?  It 
says it's a relay on the outer packaging, the NSN lookup says isolation 
relay.  To me it has the appearance of a mag pickup, like counting teeth 
on a sprocket.

Kind of like this, but not threaded all the way and 4 wire leads instead 
of threaded terminals.
