  I am not familiar with RttyApp2011 but .....If you just want to generate the tones and you want it to be scriptable (automated)minimodem is a good solution on Linux systems.

 It is fighting me every inch of the way. 

Help does not work and it is only marginally user friendly.
I could use some help please.
