When I lived in the UK I bought the range of taps and dies for BA and Whit.
Including the thread pitch gauges and form charts to make them on the
lathe if needed...
The engineer had to have cool new tools!! LOL!
FYI They've come in handy with this project.
Which brings us to the above mentioned Whit sizes... "Another Standard"
50's British Cars were Whitworth threads and hex head spanner/wrench sizes.
Leyland,Austin,Morris switched to SAE in the 60's and metric in the
late 70's (third and fourth standards)
And When working on Motorcycles they tend to be BA threads and Hex
head wrench/spanners.

On to the Creed
--------------------------------
All that mentioned I knew what I needed was "Motorcycle" screws for
the Creed. ;-) not any of the others..
And I was able to source all the bits I needed from a dealer in
BSA/Triumph/Enfield spares in London.
A quick call at 3AM my time got the spares in the post that day and
...............
On the machine about 4 days later and that was regular post!
The machine still isn't complete though as the Creed is a Parallel
model so I'm a bit stuck on finishing it for lack of documentation of
the parallel stuff... It sits quietly waiting... Plus I need two
connectors.
