all u have to do is put something at the end that will not go 
thru the ribbon guide ...   tie a knot in the ribbon ... or put a 
few staples in X pattern on the ribbon, or put a small 
grommet if u have the grommet kit.  Anything just to snag 
the ribbon guide so it switches the reverse lever.
