Restarting this discussion -
I had asked Tom for leads on getting a Model 15 keyboard, to upgrade my RO into a KSR. He's correct to point out that you need the contacts on the base unit, and my RO unit does indeed have them.
So by chance does anyone have any leads on getting my hands on a Model 15 keyboard assembly? (Also looking for a M14 TD, and maybe a reperf - I'm in Hood River, OR, and I'd probably travel in the WA/OR area - maybe a little into ID if I get desperate!)

(Picture 2) My RO does not have those contacts. Therefore a keyboard will not connect. I do not know if the RO base even has the mating keyboard gears. At my age it is to difficult to take the cover off to look. Maybe someone else can enlighten us.
