Finally got a chance to replace the starting capacitor in my LMU 11
motor. It works now!

Two observations:

1. As was previously suggested, the test for a bad starting capacitor,
of giving the motor a manual spin to get it started, does not
necessarily work with the larger. 1/12 HP motors.(may depend on the
condition of the capacitor?)  I had used this method before to diagnose
a bad capacitor in a M28KSR, but it didn't work with this LMU 11.  When
powered on, the motor just wiggled and would not run when given a manual
spin.  But with a new capacitor, the LMU 11 runs fine now..

2. When I previously repaired the motor in the M28KSR, the only starting
capacitor I could find was about four times the size of the original one
and had to be outboarded.  But thanks to Tom, N3CRK, this capacitor
https://www.ebay.com/itm/401963481930?hash=item5d96e3fb4a:g:7ycAAOSwGrBd0z2U
fits ! (almost).  It was also cheap and came in 3 days.

The new capacitor is the same diameter as the old one, but about a 1/4"
taller. So I had to cut off ~ 1/4" of the plastic on the top and most of
the terminals to get it back in the box.

The old capacitor read the proper capacitance on a DVM-capacitance
meter. But doing a resistance check, it only went up to abut 5M Ohms and
then started falling.

Thanks to everyone who provided comments!
