I seem to recall some behemoth page printer at one of the nuclear labs in the early 60's that had some insane number of pages per minute (or second). Don't think it was this one - it looks relatively compact. Very interesting - the inker and fuser are similar to what's done in modern laser printers.
I also got a kick out of looking at the salaries for various types of engineering positions at the time. As high as $12K a year! lol OTOH, you could probably get a really nice house for that amount in 1960.
