Of course. many old AT&T Long Lines microwave towers are in very active use today.  The old horns may be gone, but the tower is still there, it's tall, and AT&T still owns it.  Where there were once giant horns, there are multiple generations of cellphone antennas.  The electronics racks inside now host equipment far newer than what was once there.

I sort of miss the old horns and rigid waveguides.  There was something very appealing about that generation of technology.
