[GreenKeys] OT: A Yaesu FT-817 or a FT-991a?

Very different radios; if your mostly outdoor/camping then the 817, if youre looking for a base station then definitely the 991.

That said, if youre buying new, seriously consider the extra few bucks for an FTDX10 instead. Theres a TON of Youtube vids on it.
