I dont know what my obsession with this stuff is, but I acquired another Teletype piece, a 28 typing reperf. Would still love to find a 14 reperf.

Sadly while the seller packed it EXTREMELY well, they should have put a piece of foam inside the cover, as the mechanism busted through the little window :-(

Anyone happen to have a spare window, and/or the chrome trim piece that goes around it?

This thing definitely needs a lot of love and is fairly gummed up looking, but it looks pretty restorable. It seems to be a 7 bit unit (why why not 8) and has a what looks like a weather wheel? Has the little swirly wind icon.

I think the pic Nick recently posted in response to my collection query showed a cpl/few of these.
