[GreenKeys] Model 33 keyboard code bars

Hi all,

I'm restoring a Model33 ASR and have been rebuilding the keyboard with a
lot of help from Wayne (and others). Early on in the process I had some
suspicions about the code bars but there were more pressing matters..

However I now have the keyboard master lock/reset level working and the
mechanical behaviour is perfect so I am re-installing the keys and
indeed there appears to be a problem with my code bars.  This is the
parity version of the keyboard and I have 9 pairs of code bars. They all
seem fine to me except that the 8th row from the front are not
compliments of each other. This is photo CodeBars8.JPG. When it comes to
the 'Q' key it tries to press both code bars down at the same time and
other keys will have the same issue.

However, I do have another rusty old poor condition keyboard
(non-parity) which I am using as reference. On that keyboard the code

bars are slightly different in their order but it look like the front

one of row 8 is the same as mine and the back one is it's compliment so
I am planning to use it to fix my issue on row 8.

But, I think I also have a problem with row 9. This row is completely

missing in the non-parity keyboard that I have and is spring loaded and
actuated by shift. On my non-parity keyboard the spring loaded shift bar
is in row 2 and again one of my code bars looks the same as the one in
that keyboard (with only two teeth for the shift keys) but it's
compliment is not the same and on my two bars the shift key position is
raised in both bars so if I press the shift down it tries to press both
bars at once... since I do not have another parity keyboard to look at
can someone tell me if I have the wrong bar here too? What should this
one look like? is it possible that some of the bars are swapped around?
Aside from these two rows all of the others are perfect compliments of
each other and swapping around the pairs from my two bad rows still
doesn't seem to make them line up right either...  so I am somewhat
confused here.

Thank-you,
Troy
