 IF the ink roller in your M42/M43 cartridge has disintegrated, let me know
and I may be able to help.

Re-inking
---------------
A little WD-40 on the ribbon and/or ink-roller (in the cartridge), may help
re-activate a dried up ribbon.
If you need to re-ink the roller, inkjet black works.  Mike re-inked his
rollers with Chromaleaf pigment black ink, which appears to be just inkjet
cartridge refill stuff.
