[GreenKeys] Weird Wheatstone tape perforator

I owned this unit some years ago and just came across the photos - It looks
like a standard Wheatstone perf, but had been modified to have only keys
1-9 plus the space bar.

There must be a story behind this, but I can't figure out what it might
be...
