the .jpg is a much better format to send graphics! 

now, is the 89484 Clamp 'split' where the 
89481 shaft goes thru it?  I seem to recall 
it might be. 
Have you tried 'opening' the split just a 
bit, and the slipping a bit of thin tubing over 
the 89481 shaft to make it a bit thicker? 
(maybe put the tubing in the 89484 opening, 
then slide the tubing over the 89481 shaft, 
then tighten the 151685 screw) ... 

just an idea ...
