[GreenKeys] ASR 33 Type Cylinder mounting.

Greetings Greenkeyers!

I recently changed out the type cylinder on my ASR33, replacing one that
was damaged due to the hammer pad detaching.

The replacement is now loosening up on the shaft, resulting in
typographical chaos, however artistic it may be on the paper - like
crypto-encoding with no recovery key.   ;}

I was kinda amazed (tho not surprised) that the cylinder does not seem
to be mechanically located or indexed, but relies on just the
nut/washer/lockwasher combo to keep it in place on the shaft.  I was
afraid to put too much torque on it initially, so I held the cylinder
with soft-jaw pliers and tightened it by hand with a nut driver:
obviously not enough.

I imagine there's a torque spec for this somewhere - but I seek the
Knowledge of the Tribe:

What's the "right" way to mount type cylinders?

Do you use Loctite, or other thread compound?

Is there a special tool to do this?

Am I missing something, or is my ASR33 missing something?

When I removed the old cylinder, the nut took quite a bit of force to
loosen it.  Should I just align it again (by tweaking it until the
letters print evenly) and then really put some 'elbow' on the little nut?

Cheers
