Just out of curiosity, for the OP, are you running a serial adapter with
Heavy Metal? If so I may be able to share part of a new script I wrote to
replicate similar functionality, but using a new scripting language
(Powershell) thats built into Windows 10 (And also available for Linux). I
haven't worked on it for a while but last I used it, It printed out current
weather and also leveraged an API to get cat jokes.
