You came up with that info quickly !! 

That looks sufficiently different from any 
Teletype hardware I've ever seen ...  

But if you are not concerned about making it 
exactly like an original, looks like if you could 
make an arm then you could put a tube on the 
end to fit thru the hole in the tape roll, and 
use metal rods to support the sides. 

If I come across anything similar, I'll let you know.
