Flexowriter was one of the input devices (others being punch cards & mag tape) to the Philco-Ford 1000 & 2000 computers in Cheyenne Mtn Complex when I started there as an orbit analyst around 1977.

Interesting reading. The Electromatic (which evolved into the Friden Flexowriter) was the I/O device for a number of early cryptanalytic machines (including Colossus)https://www.cryptomuseum.com/cam/cxco/index.htmEvolution into Flexowriter https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friden_Flexowriter
