Thanks Duncan,
I learned something from that. I had never seen a M12. I had looked at some documents and from the diagram understood there was a separate distributor for the printer. For some reason I had envisioned something looking like the top end of a 14 TD. Perhaps based on having read about the receiving version of the 14 TD before reading about the 12. Also assumed the goose neck contacts version started with the 14/15.
It appears that the keyboard design stayed pretty similar M12 through the M15. (Maybe M26 too?)
