[GreenKeys] Morse tapes

    It appears that what we are looking at is two tapes, one a 
Wheatstone tape and adjacent to it (below the letters) a printed 
tape.  At the top you can see the separation, although its 
slight. I think what you are seeing is a very slight gap between 
the edges of the tapes. I have no idea what was used to generate 
the printed tape. It is spaced correctly to match the Wheatstone 
perforations. I am unaware of anything like a typing reperforator 
for Teletype but I am no expert on this stuff. I am pretty sure 
this is NOT a single tape.
    A note: I don't think a Morse to TTY converter (if there was 
such a thing) would create the spaces between the letters to 
follow the length of the perforated characters. Someone on this 
list surely knows.

I’ve not seen that convention before. Was this a kind of thin paper tape that was read into some kind of Morse transmitter? If so, how was the tape made and what was the transmitter? Maybe the book tells me, but I w pent right to page 47.
